Community Guidelines

MalluCircle is a warm, welcoming place for Malayalees across Canada to make friends. Help us keep it that way.

• Be kind and respectful

  Treat everyone with respect, whatever their background, religion, caste, region, language, gender, or beliefs. No bullying, harassment, hate speech, or unwanted pressure.

• Be real

  Use your own name and recent photo. No fake profiles, no impersonation, and no catfishing.

• Keep it friendly

  MalluCircle is for friendship and community. Don't use it to pressure people for dating or sexual contact, and don't send explicit or inappropriate messages or images.

• No spam, scams, or selling

  Don't promote businesses, send mass messages, run schemes, or ask people for money or personal financial details.

• Host and attend responsibly

  • Hosts: give accurate details, keep events welcoming, and cancel in the app if plans change.
  • Guests: only request events you plan to attend, and let the host know if you can't make it.
  • Respect the venue and other attendees.

• Stay safe

  • Meet in public places the first few times.
  • Tell a friend or family member where you're going.
  • Arrange your own transportation.
  • Don't share your home address, workplace details, or financial information early on.
  • Trust your instincts and leave if something feels off.

• Report and block

  • Use the Report or Block buttons on any profile, chat, or meetup. We review reports and may remove content or accounts.
  • If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.
